Here we go!
Air-Sea Battle, released in 1977, was one of the nine launch titles for the Atari 2600 and fairly popular.
You control a
d*ck rocketlauncher and try to shoot down various vehicles. There are 27 modes, so you can choose if you want to destroy planes, boats or fly a plane yourself and drop bombs on ground units.
Sounds like a lot of variation, but every mode plays pretty much the same.
Aim vaguely, shoot without pause and hope for the best.
That’s alright if you have a friend to play with, but the singleplayer is just painful as the cpu has no ai and just shoots upwards. No challenge to be found here.
It’s colorful, has some cute explosion sounds, but gets boring after two (singleplayer) or ten (multiplayer) minutes. Skip it!
